I tought it was probably time to update this section so here goes.
I live in North Kent with my wife Lesley. We have four children who are all pretty much grown up.
I started getting interested in photography back in the 1980's. I was given a Yashica FXD SLR for my 21st birthday. I don't miss using film but it did teach me how to use a camera and understand exposure. Other things took over and my photography went on the back burner from the late 80's until 2008 when I bought my first DSLR. I haven't looked back since. I love the control that digital gives me and the creativity you can use with software such as Photoshop. Today I take mainly landscape images. It gets me out when the light is at its best and gives me a real connection with nature and the elements.
I also love architecture and black and white.
