Great great lead in - love it. Perspective, composition and the fact you have done it in mono stands this apart.

Wonderful lead in and a well composed shot Derek - I know the end of the handrail is very dominating, but the composition is so well balanced that the rings still stand out very well SmileSmile

Just how did you manage to get this with only one bloke in shot. It was standing room only when I was there!!! A lot of thought has gone into the composition, Derek, keeping the lampposts spaced around the architecture behind. The handrail takes you down to the end of the bridge then across you go. The raindrops on the rail look good and the decking lines point towards the bridge nicely, and that single bloke is excellent. The wide angle has given you some slight perspective problems, the towers seem to be leaning out slightly.

If anything proves that it's the person behind the camera rather than the kit then this is it! Brilliant comp, conversion and processing Derek.

I actually took this about a week before the Olympics at around 7.30am in the morning. Still pretty quiet at that time.

Derek
Ah this'll be the Olympic Caber Tossing event, didn't see it on TV, tremendous angle and depth Derek.

Dramatic and striking perspective really adds to this image Derek. The end of the handrail reflects the Olympic hoops well.

Nice shot, perspective seems to be a strong theme in your photography.
