Taken a couple of weeks ago at Purton on the river Severn. These concrete barges and some older wooden ones have been used to stop erosion of the river bank. Unfortunatly the weather was to say the least bland but a graduated grey filter has helped the sky a bit.

Sometimes a red filter helps boost contrast on a dull day. The dull bits get duller and the light bits look lighter, a bit. Greens get darker, and blues. Give it a try.
