  • That really wasn't necessary

Nice shot of one of these noise and even dangerous birds 🐦. Dangerous at both ends.
I do so hope that Peter makes a quick and full recovery.

  • You have some absolutely wonderful images here. The sort of pictures that most of us could only dream of taking.

Thank you so much for sharing them with us. Thank You. Smile

  • There are good photographers and there are good photographers then there are photographers like this who I feel are in a league of there own.

    Inspiration Personified.

The portfolio gives me something to aim at, whether I get there is another thing altogether but it won't stop me trying.

  • Hello,
I've just been checking out you portfolio and you have some very good images here but what I can't understand is why you have so few clicks on them. They really do deserve more.
Keep up the good work Kris. Smile

  • Hi Costas,
I've been having a look at your portfolio and what an excellent and interesting portfolio it is. Its varied and well put together and is obviously put together by someone who is well traveled.
One of my favourite images in the collection is "Touch of Gold" a stunning image with some beautiful colours.

Thanks for sharing your images with the rest of us and keep up the good work. I look forward to seeing more of your images.

    Best wishes

  • Ade, please help.

Your Mum is a lovely looking Lady and your Dad is a handsome Bloke, there is no doubt it. So what happened to you?

    David.
  • There are many excellent photographers here on ephotozine, some of them professional but many just very keen amateurs.
There is also a vast difference in ability as well, although all I'm sure we all try to achieve an end result that is up to a standard, some achieve this and others like myself are not quite as good as we would like to be, or even think we are, so we mere mortals look to others on the site so as to gain inspiration and guidance. One of the best mentors I feel anyway is Jon (redstag). His images are of a standard to witch I would love to attain with my photographs. Not only are his images first class but also his descriptions of what he is photographing also were it is (location). This I feel helps a novice like myself, it shows that one must sometimes get out and about and into different situations to advance oneself.
Jon is also one of the members of ephotozine that is willing to pass on his knowledge and skills to others who ask for help and in a way that the novice is able to understand.

    Thank you Jon. Smile

  • There are some very spectacular photographs in your
portfolio. All I can say is that you must have the patience
of a saint, just waiting for these birds to model for you.

  • When I look at Gary's portfolio I feel compelled to vote, as the images portrayed within it are! (And this is were the problems start) If I vote on a particular image do you need to comment? Yes I feel that I should comment if only to show one's appreciation for the image displayed. The only trouble is what "Adjective" do you use that describes the picture? All the adjectives have been used before and used quite often, at least about Gary's portfolio they have. i.e just to mention a few, magnificent, superb, breathtaking, astonishing, brilliant, great, outstanding, marvellous, splendid and finally one of my favourites Bravura= brilliance of execution.
So were do you go from here? I don't know so perhaps it's best just to vote. But again it feels as if you have let down the author. So there it is. To vote and not to comment or to vote and repeat yourself and everyone else!
I rest my case, in the end its your choice.
Me, I'll just keep voting and enjoying the pictures. Smile

  • Some people might say that Neil is able to take great pictures because of were he lives and yes he is lucky to live there but as we all know, there is more to taking good pictures than living some were nice and Neil has got all the skills that any good photographer needs to come up with the goods.
He is able to produce fine prints time after time and they are very fine pictures. Thank you for sharing them with us Neil.
