Floating around.

Taken on a nature reserve nearby in Stafforeshire. This Heron was just taking it easy floating on an old inflated tyre which I assume was chained to the bottom of the lake for the lake. Far too deep for the Heron to step off as it was in the middle of the lake. Seemed to be a regular place as he was quite happy standing there.

He has his eye on something. Maybe it's a moor for a boat. Could be good fishing there which would attract the heron too.
