Reed Warbler

By dewie
As I was walking around at the London Wetland Centre, I heard the unmistakable song of a reed warbler. As I rounded the corner, it gotlouder and louder and I knew it was nearby. After a bit of scanning, I spotted it singing low down, just above the reeds, in this tree. I slowly crept up and put my tripod down in the grass, and it stayed there, allowing me to get a number of shots.

Hope you like it

By the way, thanks for the comments and votes on the previous shots, and especially the two junior awards. Grin

Good capture, these are not easy to get decent shots of. Well done!

You've managed to focus through the undergrowth brilliantly - it's wonderful to see them singing. Such a shame the 'green' got in your way! Smile

Yeah I know but the wind was strong so the reeds kept blowing across in front.
