Dunnock

Well I am now back have been absent for a while due to illness and time but here is a dunnock I took on Friday all comments good and bad welcome and Hi to all it is nice to be back

have loaded a mod...hope it's not too far away from the original. Trying to tone down the brown background to allow the bird to be more prominent. Smile

Thanks Cats the main problem taking shots at swell is the colour I keep meaning to correct colour casts will have a look now and upload a mod myself I think

This caught my eye because of the saturated colour which is unfortunate. You have good sharp head and eye on this Dunnock - pity the angle of the bird put the rear end out of focus.
The Red cast overall is the problem. Do you try different White balance settings when in RAW process - that can help, so can colour control.
I have done a quick mod in Capture NX.
Just adj light levels generally and reduced warmth and saturation using loose selections with the polygon tool.
It's not great but it shows that you can get nearer to the natural colours.
