Snowdrop

By DicksPics
Many thanks for all views, votes and comments on my 'What a Difference a Day Can Make' upload.Smile

Special go thanks to Alan(Alan_Baseley), Carol(CarolAnneLauderdale), Netta(netta1234), Effrossini(leontari) and Ali(ali63) for their treasured User Awards.SmileSmile

Today's upload is the result a bit of experimentation in PS - not rocket science to the experts, I know.
I know there are many ways to improve on what can be seen here but, I have learnt a new technique and I'm quite pleased with the outcome.

The original image was taken as a reflection in a mirror, to make it easier to see the stamens.
The camera was hand held to make it easier to get to see what I wanted; it was set to 800 ISO and f10 at 1/80 sec. exposure.

Have a lovely, if wet and windy, Sunday.

Richard

That's a method I have never tried (or thought of, to be honest) but it and your processing have resulted in a very original shot which I like a lot.

I really like this shot, albeit that it looks like a water colour painting.
The mirror idea intrigues me and pardon the pun, I must look in this.
Seriously though this is a beautiful picture, well done.

Leave me in suspenders then Richard, so what was the new PS technique you have learnt, don't share it, just keep it to yourself GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinTongue

What ever it is, it has certainly done your work justice; I have taken note of how you used the mirror though. The question is, will I nick it............... Well, I might and I might not Wink
