That's a beautiful view - well taken. Like the shadow in the mid ground. Good composition.

Nice shot, think small uplaod does not do it justice, perhaps some a bule grad for the sky would enhance here.

Wow, thanks for all the positive feedback - Freda, Derek, Peter, Tony, Scotty and Alan. It's birthday time round here soon, so I'm hoping someone will treat me to an e2 membership, then I'll really be able to go to town!

Thanks again everyone - Dave

One of my favourite spots on the Misty Isle. Did you do the walk up to The Table? I still cannot figure out how the locals got their cattle up there all those many years ago...

Thanks Jeanie, it most certainly is a wonderful place, but in the past the living must have been very hard indeed.

Many thanks for all the very positive comments from Barbara, John, Doug and Petra. Actually when I was in Skye I had beautiful mornings and rain for most afternoons. This meant getting up early! Not one of my strengths.

Hi Dave

Love the Trotternish so love this. It looks so clear I wonder if you had been there a few minutes earlier you might have got a little warmer light? I can tell from the shadows that it is early, was it clear over in the east also? Anyway, I am being picky ( as I am often told that I am). I will try to get around to uploading my take on this shot from last year so you can get your own back on me if you run into it...!

Thanks Russ and Yogendra for the comments. I have recently purchased a 'Moose' polarising filter to combat this very problem. Thanks to you both.
