Painted Fountain

By digicammad
Another attempt at painting with light, taken in Roundhay Park in Leeds. I decided to pick out the tree as well as the fountain and am quite pleased with the effect.

Now that I have the basics I think I may treat myself to some coloured gels and hopefully find somewhere to use them when Robbie and I next go away.

All feedback welcome.

Thanks John. It actually isn't lit up normally, I was playing with a technique called 'painting with light'. You need a narrow beam high power torch and it's then a matter of finding somewhere dark and picking an object to light up with the torch. This is exposed for about 30 seconds and the torch was used for probably half that time.

If you want to see some excellent painting with light stufff take a look at Ade McFade's profile.

Looks great, Ian. (I think I would have been inclined to crop off the green light and its reflection, since I find it a little distracting, but that may be just me.)

I think you're probably right Conrad, though I must admit they were deliberately included. Smile
