Series: Still Life - (46) - Having opened the wardrobe with the relics, I also found my grandmother 's Venus, who always wore it as if she was out of the house. The watch should be from the late 1940s or early 50s, small and elegant, gold-plated. About 50 years of use (grandmother "left" in 1994) left their mark on it.
I tested all the available lighting ways I had, the final photography was done in the sun, using an improvised diffuser of rice paper to soften harsh shadows and avoid intense reflections.

a fine piece of family memorabilia, beautifully photographed
i have kept my mother's golden watch she wore in the 1960s
