Great timing to get all of the elements together here. I would expect that the lens you used created compression that incresed the drama of the shot. Saw something in the forum about the softness of this lens. This certainly contradicts that idea. Well done.

Thanks for all your comments, it does help if you can get the helicopter crew to do what you ask them to do, although at one point I thought it was not going to happen, they was going the wrong way to where I was, thankfully two out of three turned the right way.

This looks great. Would have been nice to have seen some movement, but I do like it a lot as it is now, too.

This is a dramatic and highly impressive image. The silhouettes, lighting and colours are superb.

A great shot with wonderful sunset colours and excellent helicopter silhouettes. Pity that the ends of the rotor blades on the left and right sides have been cropped off. Still a very good shot though. CLIK.
