Little Red Breast

By Dingus
Working away with my spade being stalked by this little guy.

Not looking for too much critique, other than suggestions on perhaps any better camera settings, if any, I could have used.

Its a decent shot under the circumstances, meaning low light.

Your shutter speed is a little too slow so your not very sharp, but its acceptable.

Its underexposed, so it looks like you needed to go well above ISO 2000 to get the exposure and speed right.

It cleans up well though, and in the mod Ive cropped, sharpened and increased exposure.

Regards

Willie

Willie covers it. I would have switched the flash on and used ISO200. Sharper and better quality and contrast, but a black or darker background. Spot metering has to be used with great care and should not be used on automatic unless you are using exposure lock. The area under the spot must be the correct tone or the exposure will be wrong. It must equate to 18% grey, the standard to which meters are calibrated.

Sharpness is everything with such images and, whilst adequate at this size, it may not be at a very large size.
