Too wide I think about 1/4 or less of the width would look better I feel. The chail in the foreground however is fabulous.

I like the picture and I think the encrusted chain is a wonderful spectacle. I feel the picture should be turned left a few degrees and as you go into the distance it looks more like an old racing track than a dry mooring which all adds to the interest of the photograph. I have modified the frame to try and make it less imposing but retaining its dignity and displaying some empathy with the picture. I know you are experienced at framing so you will have your own strong opinions. I have tilted the picture to the left until the wall is more or less straight and I've sharpened it here and there. I also boosted the colour in places. The picture was very light on pixels so I lost some of the definition - best viewed smaller. Hope you like it Richard

The slight list drew my attention to this picture, I like it, another dimension to nautical sensation - the chain is a fantastic addition and could well stand alone.
