Day 173: Natural grace

15 Feb 2012 8:38PM   Views : 5618 Unique : 568

Whilst my fiancee was trying on wedding dresses, I took a look around Sheffield’s Botanical Gardens. This young fern drew my eye, and I spent quite a while choosing the best combination of focal length, aperture and working distance to get the effect I wanted, with the emphasis on getting a pleasingly smooth backdrop.

Nikon D300; Tamron 18-270mm PZD @ 200mm; ISO 400; F/10; 1/100s. VC on.
