King of the Wood

I took my fast telephoto out for a spin yesterday, as it's been a little neglected of late, due to my Tamron road test .
This handsome fellow was asserting his authority with the rest of the herd, and I made a retreat when I realised he was as interested in me as I was in him. I didn't want to let him get any closer than this, as he can run much quicker than I can.
You have to be sensible about these things.

I'm totally impressed!!!! I'd like to have this lens also...fit on the budget for all in one lens..

Love the placement of subject in the frame. Also love the choice of aperture rendering the tree just perfectly whilst keeping the whole animal tack sharp.
