A belated Happy Easter!

By DixClix
This is how I was greeted as I walked into All Saint's Church in Claverley, a small and attractive village near where I live. I knew that I just had to photograph this delightful view as the light from the side window just lit up the newly decorated font! It is a fascinating church to visit and very old, dating back to Roman and early Saxon times.
This shot is almost straight from the camera, a tiny bit of cropping and darkening of a copper jug on the left...but perhaps not enough!

Hi Mick!
There is oodles of atmosphere in this image - the blues in the stained glass are unique - must get there to capture these.
The decorations of the font contrast well against the other 2/3rds of the image.
I love the whispiness of the tops of the font flower 'arrangement'; they are excellent.
I think I would have brought out the shadows a weeny bit more.
Great stuff, Richard!!Smile
