    Welcome!

OK, You've received some great feedback all ready with regards to the crop, her eye & even laughter lines. As mentioned by the other photographers, the eyes do look a little odd with the black triangle in them. I have to admit, I've never seen this result/look before & I've done a few studio shoots.

The crop - It's unusual to see a model straight on, as most tend to have their body's turned 45 degrees to you. I'm not sure if your crop is deliberate or not, as you've just chopped the top of her head off & down her arm. I've uploaded my edits & I've extended the canvas around her & cropped it, so her eye on the right, falls on the node of the rule of thirds. I've added hair to the top of her head & I copied, pasted, flipped & blended in her arm on the other side.

Laughter Lines - I like them, I think it shows the character of the person. I have smoothed her skin out a little, as in places in looked a little blotchy. But studio lighting can either be harsh or flattering to female models. I'm still learning that with my models.

My Edits - As stated above, I have increased the canvas, so the top of her head can be seen & we can see her arm. I also smoothed the skin a little, his not only helps make her complexion, but can help her eyes pop. I found the image overall a little flat & have lifted it, there's 3 versions. 1 is a standard edited, the 2nd is made to look high key & the 3rd is a B&W.

There's not much to add really that hasn't all ready been said. But learning lighting is always a bonus. As mentioned, I'm still learning, as there's that many different styles of it.

Hope this is ok? Kind regards

Stunning, amazing sky & you certainly were in the "Right place, the right time" to capture it.

If your main focus was the sky, then having a hint of a landscape, gives it meaning & focus. And on a plus side, if you get into composites in Photoshop lets say, having just a hint of a landscape, is great for lining up on your new shot. Wink Wink

I know you've said you don't have any software yet & you've had some wonderful alternatives so for (bravo to the other photographers). I've also added mine into the mix. As you've stated, the image looks a little flat, but other than that, I really can't see anything wrong with it. Using Photoshop RAW editor, I've given you the settings I used to lift you image, so should you like my edit & you get Photoshop or a similar software, you'll have an idea of what I did.

Increased the Exposure by 1/2 a stop.
    Increased the Contrast by 25%
    Reduced the Shadows by 30%
    Increased the Whites by 20%
    Reduced the Blacks by 20%
    Increased the Clarity by 10%
    Increased the Vibrance by 25%
    Increased the Saturation by 4%
    Increased the Dehaze by 25%

The image really doesn't need much to lift it. But hope this helps Smile

Beautiful image. The lighting is lovely & has really emphasized her baby bump. You've even managed to get a catch light in her eye on the unlit side. Beautifully done!

Let me stat by say how much I love this image! You've nailed the composition. Great use of lead in line from the stream of water, into the lake. Brilliant. The lighting is also dramatic & very atmospheric & you were certainly in the right place & the right time, well done. Your process afterwards is top notch, you've really enhance the drama of the day & the editing is done well.

Now my critique: As all ready stated, it looks like your horizon is dipping to the left. This could be an optical illusion because of the lake bending round, but worth investigating.
I'm struggling to see where the main focus is. As I was expecting the rocks to be pin sharp, while the water & clouds be soft in focus, but the whole image looks soft to me. All though this still could be my eyes Sad

But again, I love this image. Apart from the two things I mentioned, I really do think you have a stunning image. Well done Smile
