Very nice Andy.
I love the colours and textures on the grasses and foreground rocks which only really show in the large version.

Look like a Focke Wulf 190 to me. Nice model though!

Very nice. Great composition and colours.

Baaaaaaaaaa by ade_mcfade

Fantastic baaak-lighting. I agree about maybe cropping the RH side, in fact, a square crop of just the left side looks great I think.

On Fire

On Fire by jeanie

Another fabulous image. The only slightly off-putting detail being the curve of the horizon, though that could be easily fixed. (It's a little surprising to see pincushion rather than barrel distortion in a WA shot).

Porth Nanven

Fantastic. Very nice composition and colour.

Quote: An excellent portfolio you have here, full of lovely natural looking landscapes, most of which deserve a lot more votes and awards, but then what would i know Keep up the great work.

Thanks so much for that Neil. To receive such praise from someone such as yourself is very much appreciated.

What makes both your PF and your web site so impressive to me is the almost total lack of "Kodak Moment" locations. No Ashness, Castlerigg or Derwentwater boats, just a succession of fantastic landscapes, many of which could be anywhere in the Lakes, but which demonstrate a true love of the area, and the skills required to capture it.

Thanks for commenting on my PF Carol.
You have an unusual an wide ranging set of images here that you should be proud of.
You obviously have an eye for the small details that many would miss, including myself.

Quote: Just dropped by, following a link from I can't think where, now - your pf is a bit good, a bit amazing - I am in awe, totally - still struggling with landscapes, myself! I'm not sure whether this inspires me, or tells me I should just crawl under the nearest rock... I'm going to have a better look around here...

Your pf is seriously undervoted, if you ask me...

Thanks so much for that Carol.
Your cheque is in the post!

Seriously though, it's great that people take the time to leave such positive comments. OK, the votes may be low compared to some but I won't lose too much sleep over that.

Thanks again,

ian walker

Thanks John, that's very much appreciated. As a relative newcomer to the area I've still got lots to discover yet!

Thanks very much Thomas for the first comment on my portfolio. (Yay!)

It does help, of course, living in a very photogenic part of the World, but you've still got to get out there.

Thanks again,
