Rider by estima

This is a nice shot and a great subject, however I think the rider should be left of centre, not right of centre... having them ride into frame instead of out of frame would look more natural.

Looks good to me. Good sparkle in the eyes, but as has been said, the burnt out shoulder area detracts from the face.

Almost bang on! deffinitely worth reworking that shoulder area.

What a truly fantastic photo.......... great use of the lens Luke!

Really made me laugh out loud this one :o)

The Photoshop work is far too obvious..... it just looks strange, like her eyes and mouth are on a different plane of focus to her face........ why are her nose and eyebrows so blurry yet her eyes and mouth arent??

You've ruined what might've been a decent shot in my opinion.

I think the angle is a little too extreme. Nice location though.

Advice? Keep doing what you're doing!

Nice composition, sharp where it needs to be, clean background... complementary colours...... cracking shot!

Very nice. Very similar to the last shot I took in Oz after a 6 week trip... :o)

Hope you had a good time. Look forward to seeing some more of your shots.

Beautiful shot..... great exposure and composition.

Agree about the title though. Makes it look a bit like an old Athena poster.

Very nice work indeed.

I think the composition is really nice with this one, however your "touch up" is more of a "punch up" :O) A bit too heavy handed with the dodge and burn...... I'd be tempted to go back and do a more subtle black and white conversion with some selective dodge and burn to bring out the bird's details.

Great atmosphere and vibrant colouring. Nice composition too..... I think the Freelander ruins it though. This could've been a nice, evocative, almost abstract shot without it. I hope you took a version once the car had passed!

Top work indeed Luke!

A fantastic body of wildlife work. Makes me want to go out with my Nikon 70-300mm and bag some bird shots!!

I can see many shots in there worthy of RCs and more. Its a shame your work doesn't get as much recognition as it deserves.

Great folio. I love the Cromer photos. I have 2 of those 127 Brownies that you're holding in your profile picture. Some shots from them are in my folio. :o) All the best!
