DOGSBODY

Unfortunately I have not been very well since Christmas so I have not taken any worthwhile pictures but now that the weather is starting to improve I'm looking forward to getting out and about with the camera.

As you can see from my portfolio I do not specialise in any subject. I just like to photograph the world around me and I am not averse to a little digital manipulation when the mood takes me.

For someone who claims to be "not particularly skilled at any type of subject" you demonstrate a remarkable talent for producing images which, I'm sure, many of us would be proud to claim as our own.
A Pf of fascinating variety and persistently excellent quality ~ it is the standard of work that I aspire to.
So, thank you for the opportunity to view it

Kind regards,
Jack

Thanks for noticing my seagull. Actually, the pier was safe as the bird just snapped off the lighthouse! All your shots are great. I've only just found out the difference between an F stop & a bus stop. Your photos make me want to learn faster. Cheers, Richard.

I think your PF is amazing, it's got the lot!.. landscape, models, action shots, nature, humour, close-up etc, etc. It's nice to see a photographer who is not afraid to diversify from perhaps his favourite subject and you have certainly succeeded in doing so! Keep up the good work. Regards Trev
Nice pictures here
Hi Ands, Thanks for stopping by. Just thought I'd drop by and take a sneak peak. You have some really cool pieces here. I really like "By Lamp Light". Very nice stuff. Take care.

Hi Andy, just in case you didn't see my reply to your post, I wanted to say thanks a lot for the advice on my Street Jazz photograph. I've uploaded a new version, following your advice and I must say the results are fantastic and I will use this in many other compositions of mine I am sure.

You have a magnificent portfolio here, too.

Thanks again,

Finch.
Your work is interesting..clever,creative and full of life..

Hello Andy! Thanks for your lovely comments and most welcome advice! I admit that Photoshop is a bit of hit and miss with me - I'm trying to learn as much as possible, all by trail and error I'm afraid. I will definately do as you said and I have no doubt in my mind, it will be a huge improvement! Thank you for the interest and time you took to do this, it is so appreciated! Love, Mandi

andy thanks for the comments. ive only just had my canon 40d and can only learn from them thanks.
Thank you very much for a constructive comment you have made under one of my photos.
Hello Mr. Birch. Thank you very much for your comments over the last few weeks, they are so very much appreciated. it's nice to know that your hard work is being scrutinized by your betters and I appreciate the fact that you take time out to comment on the work of myself and others (I don't get that much time to look around at other peoples work at the moment, am afraid that i am in a frantic rush to learn and hone new skills, so forgive me if I don't make many comments at the moment, when Iím more learned i will no doubt extend a hand to those still learning and praise the work of those who have mastered the art) I have looked at your work several times and I like the fact that you do not restrict yourself to any particular genre, I think that you (like myself) appreciate nature and see the potential of a shot before you post produce it (I must praise you on your post work, much kudos, very nice work) but you still manage to include other categories of work and I think that this enables us to keep an open mind and allows us to enjoy all aspects and technical skills of photography without being bogged down in any particular subject. Anyway got to go, keep on snapping those fantastic shots Regards Tony

Andy wow thanks for your kind comments mate your pf is also wide and full of variety how do you get from Twinny to a floating rock in rock pool its great. Believe it or not I have been a photographer for 3 months since I purchased my 450D around the end of July. Comments from good photographers like you and many others inspire me to do a better job and I am enjoying it so much it has infact ruined my life as I dont look out of the window in the morning and think great another day any more I think that cloud cover is really going to ruin the light today.

But I love it, by the way if you loaded your avatar as picture it would get more votes than any ever seen on this site its brilliant the best by far. Cheers Stu.
