I took this last week when I was trying to tidy the garden up ready for the winter......I think I was more interested in what the spider had created & didn't notice the little tiny creature until I had just clicked, so I stepped forward a pace & took a tight shot, think you might have to view large though.

We really have the colder weather with us now, even my fish have hibernated to the bottom of the pond, although the sun does come out, there's no warmth now........must look for my hat & scarf & mittons Wink

Thank you for the comments on my Alstroemeria, very much appreciated.

Sorry for lack of comments, been busy going to & fro to the hospital....not me, just keeping someone company.
Hopefully a couple more times & then back to normal.

Hope you all have a good weekend...take care,
Hilary (*.*)x

Two beautiful captures, Hilary, the web with the little insect adds that extra something to the images. Cool here at nights, but still hot during the day, up to 28 degrees. Carol

Two very nice images Hilary, both have their plus points but I think on balance that I would prefer the closeup of V2. That is a real dazzler.

So nicely composed and lovely detail in both. Think on balance it's probably V2 for me with its lovely close-up. My pond fish are in full agreement with yours!

Hilary, this is one sublimely gorgeous shot. And I love the web strands are "pulling" the flower to the right!! SmileSmile Thanks for the close-up in V2 too - this really is a very pretty flower. Never seen anything like it!

I love the way the web seems to be pulling in the flower in v1. They are both super shots, though.

Got your education from just hangin' around
You got your brain from a hole in the ground
You come up, look around, for a will of your own
But you're mine yeahhhhh

Like a puppet on a string
Like a puppet on a string
Like a puppet on a string
Like a puppet on a string

Reminded me of this long forgotten song,
Johanna
