Welcome to my wee bit of ephotozine... be great if you would visit my Portfolio , enjoy looking at my efforts and let me know what you think. I have to say there is some magnificent work hereabouts and it tends to make me feel I really shouldnt be in the same club with my bits and pieces but hey! someday maybe I might be brilliant too with your help and advice.

  • Rock Pool

if you moved your point of view right or left to where an expanse of water is free of rocks, your reflection of the chimneys would have been
much more effective, a nice comp just the same though.

    Hi Bren,
Thanks for your input once again, love it.....
I use cs4 with very limited expertise, and generally wb is auto.... have to say I dont really understand what your seeing re the snow.. it looks alright to me, unless, aha, you are talking about the background snow showing greyness, is that why the snow isnt right or is it something else?
Have you modified it and put it back up... if you have I cant find itSad
    cheers

This shot looks sharp enough to be cropped to the spider to show it in all its glory. Too much background spoils it for me.

    Hi John,
the colour youve left in this shot t really suits the scene, much better for me than the b&w. Ecellent capture of the Highland mood!

  • A Lily just for me

It can only happen in photography, a silky, smooth, sharp, stunning Marvellous image. I have just one suggestion, when you've got the hang of photoshop, re work your lilly and take out the
the white bud bottom left. You could be surprised how it will make this picture even easier to look at and enjoy even more. Well done
