Snowdon Horseshoe

By Dotrob
Shot taken today from the Cwm Orthin area. Been on a joint walk with the 333 group (retired rescue workers based in the Ogwen Valley) Apart from mountain walking we also went through a disused mine which was a bit scary, but well worth the effort as the scenery after getting out of the mine was breathtaking.

Having fell run there, walked and climbed over the last 20 years this capture is fantastic. So often the weather is a bit more challenging, well done for taking your camera and showing the area at it's best

Very well composed winter landscape, the side lighting showing off all the detail and textures in the terrain.

Where you been hiding Dot, missed you for all these months, Wales is second for me only to Scotland, smalleer in scale but no less wonderful mountains, especially in the snowy season.
