Perfect Light

By douglasR
This is a rework of an image I took a little while ago, the light after a day of heavy rain was amazing and I feel this is more like I remember it.
It was taken at Glen Croe with ben Ime behind me and Beinn an Lochain in front just to the left of the old ruin, I can still smell that lush green grass.

Very nice! full of color & sharpness!
Good work - everything is beautifull, the light, the layout, the rushing water against the rocks.
I can 't help wonder if you would make it a little less colorfull if the image would look more natural... like the green... Don't get me wrong it is quit amazing!
Who knows its worth experimenting with a B&W conversion....
Kind regards, Guy

Hi Guy,

Thank you very much for your critique, as a long time fuji Velvia film user I do like my deep contrasty colour and that is what I often try to recreate digitally.
It may not be to everyone's taste,in this instance the deep lush green was quite amazing,it had been lashing for days and with the summer growth it was amazingly vibrant.

26 votes for this work of art?
sometimes i despair at the images that don't get the attention they deserve.

a true genius never gets the recognition they deserve due to the jealousy of others.
in my opinion.

keep posting and to hell with the people who can't accept their own failings.
