Superb Keith.

THE GILLYS HAT by keithh

Agree with Nick. The hat and hessian are too similar in colour and texture for me. Love the reel, line and flies but for me the hat has to go. Maybe nice with a couple of trout or salmon in its place and then something with some height behind them. Maybe the cork rod butts or something. Same colour but different texture.
I used hessian with grain, hops and beer years and years ago for a cibachrome in my city and guilds and that seemed to work well. At least I passed anyway!
No idea about the commerciality of those comments, I bow to your greater knowledge in that area but thought you may appreciate the comment on the composition.

Lovely bit of HDR that Tony. Have an RC (which is well deserved)

Looks great Paul. Would make a good mono as well I reckon.

Just ordered a big stopper. Should have it by next year Wink Lovely long exposure Fran.

Doing the same thing! Silver exec pro is the way to go! Lovely image that works well in mono.

Tranquillity by ChrsWeedonPhotography

Nice image, would increase the contrast just a touch as I can just see the horizon on the left hand side of the image. Would have shot it with a smaller aperture and slightly longer exposure as well to get rid of any detail in the water.
Nice composition though.

Kathy, you really have a great eye. Very talented. Can't understand why people think its HDR though Sad

Your photography always celebrates what East Anglian is about, take a bow!

Great drop of light Martin, you could almost walk into the scene.

TrompED!! by MrsS

Love my reverse grad Fran. Use it more often than the others to be honest. Some lovely soft light on this, you have handled the conditions perfectly.

Love them both but probably just come down on the 'no lights' side. Jealous though, must add this to my collection of 'classics' if I end up in Yorkshire again. SmileSmile

Had this on my to do list but didnt have time this trip. Not sure I'll bother now as you have cracked it! Excellent pan as usual.

Quote: Sorry Alex, but this is excellent work. Natural colours, superb clarity and the exposure (even the sky!) is spot on Wink

I agree. Looks like a great bit of weather there Martin.

145 RC's I have just counted in my pf 26/8/08 and I remember the very first one. It was as if I had turned into a professional landscaper overnight! It was a real struggle to get there and then another mountain to get to my first EC. Its been quite a journey but I am pleased with my progress. Thanks all for the comments.

A pf I have only just come across but glad I have. You have a collection of excellent images there Shaun which deserve greater attention. You will certainly get more from me in the future.
