'The Admiral von Tromp', Saltwick Bay

By dp
After the reaction to yesterdays upload I have learnt that if you are slapdash with your processing you don't get away with it on EPZ! This is the Admiral again but with a bit more time taken on the Mac. This has a reverse grad on and I have used a wider aperture than normal to just throw the nab a little out of focus. The main element of the composition should be the wreck, the nab appearing ominously in the background. It tells the story of what happened to this trawler as it should I think.
For my day job I am a teacher and I am going to use this image, along with the story about the wreck (which you can read from the link on yesterdays) in some literacy. Hopefully the children will be inspired enough to produce some good work.
Anyway, hope you enjoy this better than yesterdays. Thanks for looking.

Just had a look at yesterdays. I much prefer todays image with different point of view and processing making it pin sharp and quite simply a great image ... Carol Grin

a dramatic difference between the 2 uploads.....this one has more immediate visual excitement, highlighting more on the foreground wreckage.....great job. Smile
