Raging torrent

Autumn is here...Been hoping to get back up this spot for a while now, and a rainy day in early Autumn seemed like a good bet Smile What I hadn't expected was the sheer amount of water that had turned the usually gentle and peaceful stream into a raging torrent! The shot I had planned on was to be taken from in the water looking upstream, but as this was now at least four feet deep, it looked very unlikely! I saw these impressive tree roots a few months back, and decided this seemed like a good composition - the fallen Beech leaves provided a welcome contrast with the vivid greens of the moss and trees downstream, whilst 8 seconds of exposure captured the speed of the water rushing past. Golitha Falls, Bodmin Moor...
