Aries and really hates Mondays

By DPye
This image captures the spirit of our dog Beau. Playful to the extreme. With so many different expressions, all of which can be seen on his forehead. Bull Mastifs are reknowned for it.

Pulsar. I could leave my dog in a picnic full of kids and the only thing I would ever have to watch would be the food. Beau is playful with a sense for fun. He loves kids. Keep your comments to yourself if your just going to be stereotypical. That's not a critique on my photo, have you read the Terms of submiting a critique?

I work in the media and given the amount of news stories appearing with dogs killing and injuring small children and small animals you will forgive me if i seem a little angry , but one of these stories happened on my street corner with an Akita that the owners said loved kids , it loved one so much it attacked him , so please love your pet but remember it is still an animal and they can hurt , please dont be leaving it in a kids picnic , ( i know that was only a comment ). My point at the end of the day is that this photo is a little insensitive.

Its a toy bear.....get a life. She has got a nice, fun image here! She wants constructive comments! Pulsar69, left a negative comment, with now helping tips with it! For someone with such high contrasted, blown to hell shots he's a little too fast and loose with the whole critacism thing. I like this image, you just got some grumps on it, keep taking this fun images Smile

Ok, well I guess as I know him, and my kids love him to bits, that I see more of the humour to this photo. It was a toy we gave him too. I know the stories. I would imagine that 80% of the time you would only need look at the owners though. Beau is half black lab too, which gives him his placidness. I'll post a better shot of him tommorrow.

Made me smile, (people can hurt kids too, if we took that into account that would eliminate most images on the site) lets keep some perspective.

fun shot, cant comment on technical stuff though, not experienced enough.

Don't know if you can read "Aries" too well, but it is written on the front of the bear.
Thanks for your comments :o)

This is one of those pictures that people can bring their own prejudices to, as has been demonstrated. I'm of the belief that there are no bad dogs, only bad dog-owners.

That said, there really isn't much to critique about this shot. Good technique isn't the point here as the subject carries a lot of meaning for you which doesn't translate into a picture very easily. One for the album, certainly.
