I have to disagree with Stoneman, unfortunately the flash has left the whites overexposed. I understand you have a point and shoot camera with no facility to alter the exposure but you can diffuse the flash with something like tissue paper or I have heard baking paper works sometimes, that way the light will not be so harsh. K.

Just to be slightly contraversial, I'm going to agree with both Steve and K. It's a good use of the flash which has brought the bush out very nicely, but as K says it's just overexposed them slightly.

Thankyou for your comments they are much appreciated - being an amateur at this, when you have pointed such things out as overexposure i can see that now and hope to think about this when i take a photo next... Smile
