2 very beautiful images. The glow given by the lighting is well captured.

Well, there's a coincidence. Only last week I watched Shark Tale. So I'm a big kid. So what? Anyway, two of my favourite characters in that film are Ernie and Bernie, the Rastafarian jellyfish. They were made of blue jelly, too.
I think, if I were you, I would have uploaded V2 the day after I uploaded V1. Then I might have gotten two votes instead of only one.

I saw similar jellyfish, in a tank at Ceasars Aquarium Las Vegas, it was hard to take a sharp shot in extreme low light conditions, while these things constantly move and float about. For me, using a 3 shot continuous shot in low light, at least one shot out of 3 would be in focus with great colour. Flash is bad, can't take a decent pic in these conditions. I have a better shot than this, I have all the colour range from pale pink to scarlet into deep red. I'll post it see what you think. I give you a vote because I know how hard it is to shoot thise things.

Think I prefer the composition of v1. I think the oof jellyfish in the background is what makes the image more appealing. I like v2 also, and yes there is more detail, but am not big on the jellyfish being right in the middle of the frame.
I saw a lot of these growing up in Norway, and have picked countless out of our fishing nets. Interesting to see them this colour -and that the light made them glow like this. Kinda like the old days when we went disco-ing and our white clothes glowed blue

Both of the shots look very nice as far as i'm concerned,I love the vivid blue against the black background and the way you can see the
underside trailing almost ghostlike,I tried getting a shot like this at a sea life centre hear in Cornwall (failed miserably ),thanks for your comment on my Log Man earlier by the way,I'm going there again soon so will try out your suggestion,as the stumps are still rooted I don't know how far round I can go but it will be interesting to see.
