I like the way the fence provides a barrier at the left of the pic and provides a contrast with the more natural sand and grasses. The shape of the mound of sand is nice and you have got some interesting patterns both naturally made by the wind and by the local wildlife. I feel maybe the shape of the mound would have been emphasised more if you had zoomed out just a little. It looks like there is a path going round the base of the mound which would have served to emphasise the shape of the mound a bit more.
The grasses look very dull and desaturated. It looks like there is some sort of a colour cast going on there. I have uploaded a mod for you where I have attempted to put some green back into the grasses and pepped up the sand a bit to give it a wamer look using a selective colour adjustment layer. It is quite tricky though as the sand and the grasses are so mixed together. See what you think anyway.
