Both variants look quite empty compositionwise
in no1 there are some slopes (?) looming in the distance
but wide angle pushed them back too much
for them to play any significant role in the frame
(which maybe they could have)

i guess landscapes aren't my strongpoint, i must try harder as my old school report used to say. thanks for the comment.brian

I'll go with Bruce on this. The colours and detail are superb but the scene just looks a little empty. You'll have to get some blow up sheep and keep 'em in your camera bag Wink

fruitless photo-trips haunt me all the time (mostly due to adverse atmospheric conditions)
takes a lot of perseverance to get something decent every once in a while..
good luck and do try harder, everyone always should however good they are Smile
