Old Tulip Master

This is my first attempt at textures. It's something I have always wanted to have a go at but never got round to. The actual processing is not that hard; choosing how much and what is right is the hard part.

Really needs to be viewed large if you have the time

Like the tones and texture in this Paul - for me I might have reduced it a little more on the main subjects ie the flower book and lamp. at the moment it all seem flat with the uniform texture. Just my thoughts.

Thanks Richard, I see your point, viewed large shows the texture a little more but ideally I should have moved it over a little to make it more prominent

Paul for a first attempt you should be very proud!
I would like to have the ability to do this, but..there is a but unable!
I viewed large and what a difference, the fallen petals really help, good textures and colour
