What next? That may be up to you...

Time for an update: I still use film, though. Not vast quantities, but I have a darkroom, and I'm not afraid to use it.

I enjoy every image I take: I hope you'll enjoy looking at them.

I've just checked. This is the hundredth blog I've written: more than three months, and around 30,000 words at a wild guess. That's quite a lot of output.

I promised myself that I'd keep on writing until the end of lockdown: and just as that's a messy, contentious thing with no well-defined edges, so my blogging is going to tail off.

And I've decided that on a day when I am going to be out and about taking pictures for more than an hour or two, I'm not going to write a blog. And as I'll be shooting for three hours today, this is a sort of goodbye to daily blogging.

I'll be back tomorrow, God willing, but not necessarily every day.

And I'm asking my readers (if anyone reads after scanning the title) to help. One or two people have suggested topics, some more consciously than others. But I'm entirely happy to receive suggestions, either as comments below, or as private messages. Notes attached to gold bars and carrier pigeons acceptable...

Damn this predictive text!

Decluttering? Neatly done on your latest post! (Unlike my office, which is far from neat, and has not been decluttered in its fifteen years of existence.)
