Beautiful in many ways - lovely model, love the vanity mirror, the one dark furnished nail, curves and grain.

Demure is what comes to my mind - the pose ( cant see her eyes but this does not detract), the lighting, even the grain (not a lover of grain in pics) are right for this image and model. Well done to you both

Vivian is a very sensible and elegant lady. Completely unscary, and very gentle.

Lovely pose and I do like the way you use the grain effect.
With L4 update I found some presets in the downloads that aim to simulate some old B&W film outputs.

That could be interesting, Dave!

I don't use Lightroom (I have a basic problem with an editor which needs to have a picture in a catalogue before you can work on it!), and I would tend to use the various filters in Nik Efex, as that's what I'm familiar with. But I suspect it will have a lot of appeal for many people who are more processing-orientated than I am, so it would be good to hear how it goes...

Lovely demure pose, and great old-school film image with just the right amount of grain

Beautiful. The vanity mirror almost makes me think halo around the back of her head. The space in her hair looked like an earring at first glance.

Takes me back to my darkroom days in my loft with access by a ladder! The pleasure of seeing your print coming up the developer as a future Camera Club winner? Not quite the same in digital.
I like the pose and the demure look on the model's face, coupled with the grain giving it an overall softness effect.

Nik SilverEfex Pro has a whole list of film simulations - all from Kodak Panatomic ISO 32 up to Ilford and Kodak 3200

Very demure and innocent looking, John, as already mentioned, almost '60s glamour, especially with that mirror in the bg.

A delightful image, John.
I think she's contemplating: "Shall I go to Tesco or Asda this afternoon?"
