Ha ha ... poor koala. You will have to make a trip down under to see them for real.

Our next door neighbour has perched a model parrot on the garden fence, I have added a half coconut for it to feed on. Must get a photo some time...

Not so much the cable ties being a giveaway ... I'd say the koala is a giveaway! GrinGrin

Moira, is the parrot a Norwegian Blue?

Great idea, Colleen. Maybe, one day...

Well it certainly has blue feathers, but I never saw it in Malc's back garden.

What cable ties? I can't see them! I think these animals were harmed in the making of this shot!Wink

Maybe they are looking for The Gruffalo

I'm not sure these are fake. They're genuine stuffed animals. Like the ads out of the 70's. Genuine vinyl and my favourite, genuine faux fur.

Well spotted and I don't think the Kookaburra is impressed by the Koala's presence.

They are a bit high up for me to check, but I'm sure they're not real. Felt or wood, who knows, yet. I shall keep watching to see how they deteriorate as they age.

Cable ties are visible below the bird, and below each foot, as well as on the right wrist of the koala.

But.... back in the real world.....these creatures are getting a hard time in Aussie (C'mom ColleenA where are you, shout for the local team) due to bush fires and forest removal for urban expansion, Koala are in serious decline, apparently about 70% of the population perished in the fires in 2020, and of course those which survived have a much smaller habitat to inhabit. (OK just seen Colleen pipped to the post)
Have fun if you can.

Yep, those tree's are definitely made of plastic, John.
