Great thinking and execution dudler.
The has been a famous photoreporter in my country with the nickname ''the ladder''. While other' photoreporters were carrying just lenses, he carried a small stepper or a ladder with him. He always had a better perspective on the subject and he was not shy to ask his subjects, politicians, high clergy, army officers to give him the second he needed to make his photo. Ever stood on a ladder between two traffic lanes to take a picture? He did it.

An 85mm f/1.4 at full bore gives a lot of softness, John!

The luck (and several frames' worth of shooting) got the eye decently sharp.
