Oh no, not again!

By dudler
Sorry. It's another self-portrait, from earlier in the proceedings, as I was starting to learn about how to position the computer for tethered shooting of self-portraits, and still trying to use the touch screen to take the picture... The expression said 'Silly Sunday' to me quite loudly. The lead sticking out of my laptop is indicative of soemthing (not sure what, though), and the Cross pen in my shirt pocket speaks of an interest in older technology...

Back into the darkroom in the blog, which recounts the making of twelve prints a couple of days ago.

Nah, admit it, you've hit on something dodgy on the laptop and you're worried that Janet might come into the room at the wrong moment ... Wink

The electricity bill has just arrived - much more like to shock John than anything I would consider 'untoward' GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

Selfies are never easy as we grimace at ourselves.
I like the shirt though!

Pens and paper are less prone to viruses, John.
Unlike people and computers.
And that's about as far as my technical knowledge takes me.

Tethered Shooting, not a variation of Shibari then? Smile.
That pen has always lived in that pocket. SmileSmile

A feel like I am a Century Old now.
I know that Cross Century ballpen...

Nice fresh colours dudler. And yes this is a title borrowed from the Seventies of 20th century if I remember correctly: "The Agony of the Photographer before the Selfie". Only reworked to fit the occasion. I say that the goal counts!

It is not a ballpen: it's a fountain pen, filled with brown ink... Accept no substitute!

Selfie, in my opinion, is the most dificult theme for every serious photographer, John!
