Rainy days and Sundays

By dudler
Actually, I took this picture on a rather lovely day, after wandering round the Malvern Showground with a gentleman (and a gentle man) who some of you know, because he's a member here. I took it through a window which he's used many times for pictures of the weather and the seasons, the clouds, trees and buildings.

But when I visited him, the weather turned wet while he was making tea and getting cake out... I'd had visions of sunlit horizon, beautiful shadows. I failed.

So here's my Silly Sunday offering: all I could make of that wonderful view. At least, though, I was untroubled by lighting issues with flash or other artificial light - my blog today may remind some people of science homework facing them on a Sunday

Yep, we can never really predict the weather, John.
And as someone once said: A butterfly flapping it's wings in Brazil could course a storm in North America.
Well, something like that...

We're bracing for another hurricane so this will be my view for the next two or three days.

It was all going very well and then somebody mentioned CAKE.
"People look down on stuff like geography and meteorology, and not only because they’re standing on one and being soaked by the other. They don’t look quite like real science. But geography is only physics slowed down and with a few trees stuck on it, and meteorology is full of excitingly fashionable chaos and complexity. TP.
