John - the shape and texture on the wood is unusual and interesting. At first glance I thought it was a bit of a body in need of a shave!

Amazing! The first image had me baffled then looking at the second all became clear. Paul.

Definitely the sort of thing to keep for picture making.

What have we said about rooting in bins John??😅

It has definitely flipped it's last over easy egg!

Lovely close up and a new life awaits...

A perfect re-use of this iconic tool. I use these all the time in the kitchen, and it makes an excellent abstract.

Super textures and patterns in the wood well brought out in the mono version, John. The colour version has a lovely colour but is perhaps too realistic to make an abstract. A nice pair of images.

Some lovely grain captured. Almost trashed but lived to see another day. I like both and can't decide.

I like this 'still life'. It works better in black and white, the two different peices merge together almost seamlessly! The colour more layers of hues and make the 'paddle thingy' stand on its own.

Lovely details in the wood, however, it is colour version for me!

Terrific grain (and colour) making a fine abstract for SS

Good semi perv image here John, first viewing, a spatula and "hairy" bits, but, nothing quite as outrageous when brought through to colour.
Clever imagination of "the mind fills in the blank bits", that the mind owners want to see, clever stuff.
Cheers.
