With a tennis racquet like that no wonder why she missed first place in 1935, 1936, 1938 and 1939. I suppose the sculptor thought that chicken wiring does not cut it for SW19 servicing.

Well composed and edited photo John and a nice description. Not sure about the dark red stripe across the top (part of the frame?)

Nicely composed shot and story John. I may have been tempted to clone out the floodlight.
It draws the eye away from the view of the tennis court through the racket.
Just did a very quick mod, to see if it helped. Not sure that it did Blush
