Wodget, again

By dudler
Uploading from a mobile device is so much harder than with a desktop with two screens: drag and drop and a full keyboard aren't options...

Anyway, here's the little sculpture that I have owned for several years, in its natural habitat on the bedroom windowsill, for Mobile Monday.

I'm doing as much of the upload as an edit, after the event, for the sake of this lovely big Microsoft keyboard, with room for multiple fingers.

Blog link - has an iPhone changed my earlier views of mobile photogrpahy? Guess - or go and see...

Wodget - when I first got it, I felt this little creature deserved a name (and perhaps a story?) so I called it the Little Brown Wodget.

Food for thought, John. Widget or without it ?

John - the perils of uploading from a mobile thing: it altered my spelling. It's not a widget (I'm not sure EXACTLY what one looks like, but I think it's shinier and more metallic), but I'd typed 'Wodget' - and have now corrected it!

I know about these things. It is definitely a Wodget. But it looks as though it is hiding behind a sofa !

Wodget or widget debate. Definitely a star gazing hare!

Interesting that you find it more complicated uploading from a mobile.
A friend has just sent me a photo which she reduced but has appeared so large I can't see
it without sliders - can't copy and paste it into a folder.
I don't have a smart phone so it is all mystery to me

Definitely a Wodget. I named it so, and it's definitely not a widget. They tend to hide - it came from the Arts Society shop in Woodbridge (opposite the water mill) around ten years ago. There were relatives to be found there.

A smartphone lacks a full-size keyboard and a mouse. That makes things harder!

They are shy creatures, and do tend to hide behind things, or in quiet corners of dark shelves and windowledges.

More like a Salvador Dali offering. Should be worth a bob or two!

'Tis a weird looking thingy, whatever its' name, looks a bit like an orange peeler thing...I had one once made of plastic though Sad
I am so hoping its' not going to be a medical instrument of some sort......Heaven forbid !!

I don't do phone pictures, I have trouble getting things straight with my camera never mind a flimsy phone Wink
I did take some once though and no, they weren't straight !!

So your Gadget turned your Wodget into a Widget. Smile
Thats the problem with 'I' things, they have a habit of doing exactly
the opposite of what to want them to do....

So does he do tricks, John? I only use my iPhone camera in ermgencies....or on my bike. And, you know what they say.....the best camera is the one you have with you.
