Dave can give a fuller definition of 'pop-up studio' - but essentially, it's a studio that happens occasionally in a space that isn't dedicated to being a studio the rest of the time.

An interesting question. The box is a structure that doesn't lend itself to modification - but at some point I may try using BluTack to put some LED light strips in it temporarily. And it would be possible to replace the back with translucent plastic so that it could be backlit...
