I don't do many images other than floral but as requested am posting on a day I normally don't, here's what I believe is a Y Moth (Oh, No it's not!! Ade, thank you for pointing out it's actually an Antler Moth Grin) set of images as a tribute to CarolG. Hope she can find her way out of a nasty situation soon and permanently!

I may not manage to look in over this weekend, so please forgive. The daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter are about to descend!! George has a small operation to be carried out midweek at the Borders General Hospital, so not sure how much time I shall have to pop in. Will do my best!

Well the bad news is it isn't a Y moth Sad But the good news is that it's an Antler Moth Cerapteryx graminis and although quite common, it's a lot rarer that the Silver Y...Well done....

Thanks, Ade. Will try and remember the correct name. I can see where it gets the "antler" description from. Clearly I should stick to naming flowers!! Grin

Hi Ann, this is a fabulously detailed picture, and it is floral as well! The antennaes of the moth are terrific!
