TreeCreeper 2

This TreeGreeper shot was taken on the 11th of this month.Have been trying to improve the shots of these trying little birds but its not easy. The whites have blown due to exposure comp setting which was kindley pointed out by Geoff FeatherFriend . i have a 400mm f5.6 prime & 300mm f4 prime with the option of a 1.4 convertor which is pretty good on the 300mm f4. What would be your option (hand held)

Nice shot.
Not the easiest bird to get, as they soon scamper up the tree trunk or, around the other side.

Nice one Scott, I would reccomend the second option as mine worked reasonably well last weekend but then I have'nt used the 400mm before.

Excellent shot, Scott. Don't be too concerned about the blown white here - it's minimal, to my eyes.
