Taken last Christmas eve in Newcastle's Jesmond Dene. The ducks were taken five minutes later just down river, and pasted in using PSP.

This is lovely, I really like it. What a contrast with the recent hot weather too, makes me shiver to think that winter will soon be with us again.

Beautiful scenery. With all the hot that we have been suffering for the last two weaks, this is good to cool us a little. Smile

I like the way your eye is drawn into the picture, either under the bridge and up the river to the fallen tree in the middle distance or across the bridge then turning right at the end, back into the middle.

Classical gas, not the tune by Mason Williams, the photo. Superb and a delight to view.

This image has several vanishing points.. Its very hard to get this to work in most cases but Ed has managed it brilliantly in this photo.. Pin sharp too..
Like the subtle greens on the trees..
has a timeless quality about it
