Impaled Impermanence

By EddieAC
Our time on this world is finite and this snail has already met with his fate.

Well, maybe this isn't exactly impaled but at some point while his shell has been left on the ground the undergrowth has grown into his shell and raised it into the air. It has curved around inside the shell and is even now starting to grow back outside again.

This scene was changing by the day and a few days ago the whole subject was more vertical. Friday it was more curved and I quite liked this version which I captured on Sunday. A day or two more and the shell will most likely be back in contact with the ground again.
