Pegs and poor weather

By EddieAC
It's been a while since I uploaded an entry taken for the weekly black and White challenge to my portfolio but I quite like this one and it is a good reminder for me that I can get a half decent photo even when it is raining.

It had been raining when I arranged the pegs and it was getting a bit dark so I decided to wait until the following morning hoping there might be some dew on the pegs.

Next morning it was still raining but not as much as the night before so I went outside to get the shot. Smile

Actually I realised that this wasn't exactly my entry for the challenge after I uploaded it and was taken at an aperture value of f/8 where my challenge entry was at f/11. I uploaded my challenge entry as a version. I think both have their merits, the version at f/8 has the more pleasing background and f/11 has slightly better streaks of rain. Smile
