...and so we made our way home from the Olympic Park Visit. We caught the Jubilee line from Stratford to North Greenwich where we boarded a Thames clipper for a very quick trip along the Thames. The giant Olympic rings on the Tower bridge had just been unveiled by mayor, Boris Johnson, and I managed a few grab shots during our speedy voyage.

We passed the HMS Belfast - a museum ship and popular tourist destination

Cranes pay homage to the Town Hall and Mayor, Boris Johnson

The Shard looks down on the Millennium bridge

Giant Blocks brighten up the walkway near the South bank Centre

President Nelson Mandela of South Africa still asks 'WHY'!

Everything is beautiful when you don't look down!

and on to Waterloo station to catch strain to Richmond



what a splendid set of images. I'm green with envy that I didn't get them. Smile
